Project Lead

IIM Calcutta Innovation Park (IIMCIP) invites applications for the position of Project Leads. IIMCIP, a not-for-profit (section 8) company, aims at promoting entrepreneurship and innovation through creation of a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem and helps innovative ideas transform into successful business ventures. Social Entrepreneurship is a focus area for IIMCIP and the incubation support offered to startups includes workspace, mentorship and funding and market connect.

The position of Project Leadinvolves overall project execution, stakeholder management & team management including community relationships, Govt. liaising, CSR and R&R program implementation and village level stakeholder management, Government convergence, Social Incubation and project management.

Requisite & Desirable Skills & Capabilities:

At least 15 years of experience in setting up and/or managing a manufacturing business preferably in the food processing or handicraft sector in a leadership position, answerable for the P&L of the unit.
Should have expertise in the entire business operations specially in sales and business accounts and should have extensive industry contacts.
Will be responsible for providing overall direction and guidance to the team. Will interface with government officials, industry experts and other key stakeholders.

Qualification and Experience: Post-Graduation in Development Studies/ Business Management/ Rural Management/ Accounts/ Economics/ or related fields or a professional degree like CA, ICWA etc. Candidates with good academic record from reputed educational institution is desirable.

Compensation: Will be commensurate with the qualification and experience of the candidate.

Location: Patna, Kolkata and Guwahati

Tenure: It is a contractual position for an initial period of two years and renewable thereafter subject to performance and organization’s requirement.
