IIMCIP inks a partnership with Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society

IIM Calcutta Innovation Park has formalised a collaboration with Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society (JSLPS) for the implementation of the Incubator Project approved by the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), Government of India, under the Non-Farm Domain!

The collaboration marks an important step towards building a robust incubation ecosystem that empowers SHG entrepreneurs to transform their enterprises into market-led businesses.

What this project will deliver:

• 5 Regional Incubators — To be established across Jharkhand to sustain the incubation initiative for SHG entrepreneurs beyond the project period, ensuring sustainable growth.
• Pan-State Outreach — A multilayered intervention covering all 24 districts and 264 blocks, reaching SHG entrepreneurs and artisans at the grassroots.
• Capacity Building — Tailormade Incubation Skilling programs for JSLPS officials and CRPs-EP, building institutional capability from within.

At IIMCIP, we believe that innovation and enterprise are not confined to urban centres. This MoU is a testament to our commitment to taking world-class incubation support to the grassroots to strengthen the true backbone of India’s economy.
