IIM Calcutta Innovation Park partners with The Assam Royal Global University to Strengthen Campus Entrepreneurship

IIM Calcutta Innovation Park (IIMCIP) has entered into a strategic partnership with The Assam Royal Global University through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly foster a vibrant culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students across Assam and the North-East.

The MoU was signed on November 18, 2025, by the IIMCIP COO, Pranjal Konwar and Dr Diganta Munshi, Registrar, Administration Director, IQAC Dean, RSET & RSIT, Royal Global University, in the presence of Pankaj Gogoi, Head of Operations, IIMCIP -TIC.

Through this partnership, IIMCIP will support the establishment of an Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) at Royal Global University, offering capacity-building sessions, “Train the Trainer” programmes and operational guidance to build a strong campus-based entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The collaboration will enable business plan competitions, startup hunts, hackathons and ideation events to identify promising student-led ideas. Selected ventures will receive incubation support from IIMCIP, including mentorship, access to incubation facilities and investor connect opportunities.

This partnership aims to empower student innovators, nurture early-stage ideas and contribute to the growth of the region’s startup ecosystem.
