Business Managers

IIM Calcutta Innovation Park (IIMCIP) invites applications for the position of Business Managers. IIMCIP, a not-for-profit (section 8) company, aims at promoting entrepreneurship and innovation through creation of a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem and helps innovative ideas transform into successful business ventures. Social Entrepreneurship is a focus area for IIMCIP and the incubation support offered to startups includes workspace, mentorship and funding and market connect.

The position of Business ManagerinvolvesCoordination, Linkage, Facilitating engagement between the enterprises with Mentors, other training institutes including community Mobilization andSourcing.

Requisite & Desirable Skills & Capabilities:

• At least 3 years of experience in enterprise promotion/management – in a functional area like production/sales/procurement etc.
• Will be expected to travel extensively and provide hands-on mentoring to approximately 50 enterprises selected for support by the Incubator. Shall be responsible to ensure that his / her supported enterprises grow as per the desired rate and meet other defines business and governance.
• KPI targets, on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Shall seek help from the functional specialists for specific technical support and report to the Project Lead.

Qualification and Experience: Post-Graduation in Development Studies/ Business Management/ Rural Management/ Accounts/ Economics/ or related fields or a professional degree like CA, ICWA, etc. Preference will be given to candidates from premier institutions like IRMA, IIM, etc.

Compensation: Will be commensurate with the qualification and experience of the candidate.

 Location: Bihar, West Bengal and Assam

 Tenure: It is a contractual position for an initial period of two years and renewable thereafter subject to performance and organization’s requirement.
