Medi 360 shortlisted for Mass Challenge Switzerland
Founded in 2016, Mass Challenge Switzerland has quickly become a leading driver of innovation and entrepreneurship in Europe by connecting start-ups with the experts and resources they need to grow. Their 144 alumni are changing the world for the better. This year our incubatee, Prosperita Medi 360, a Medtech start-up has been selected for the prestigious program for this month of May.
The Start-up shall be eligible for a selective four-month program providing:
- Up to $3M USD globally in cash prizes
- An established international community of start-ups
- World-class mentoring from industry experts
- Tailored programming
- Unrivalled access to corporate partners.
Medi360 is a last mile delivery of affordable quality primary healthcare services to underserved population using technology and a network of doctors.
About Medi 360:
Medi 360 started as a Tele-Health provider with a vision to provide accessible and affordable quality primary healthcare services across rural India. Their service delivery comprises of 3 key components:
- Low cost Tele-health platform (Diagnostics, EMR capture and consultation)
- Reliable doctor network
- Last mile delivery through physical clinics managed by an operator/ a medical assistant
The entrepreneurs intend to address the need for accessible and affordable healthcare services in rural India. Currently their focus is in the states of Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Eastern UP.
The entrepreneurs Amar Kumar Jamdiar and Shivakumar Krishnamurthy are alumnus of IIM Calcutta and IIM Lucknow respectively. Currently, they have spread their business across Bihar, Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh with 12 centres operating in these states.
